I've kind of got a blog/journal going on a website of mine. It wasn't being used so I installed wordpress w/o really knowing what I'd be doing with it and just started posting journals like I used to here but don't anymore because I'm a horrible person.
I just had to share this as I'm extremely excited. After three years of dealing with a ~360kbps upload speed, roadrunner in my area upped it to around 1000kbps. As a lot of people don't actually understand these numbers. This means I am able to upload at around 125KB/sec (the numbers you usually see). Download speed is still around 750KB/s but that's perfectly fine for me. I've wanted a higher upload bandwidth for some time now.
You can test your speeds @ http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ Make sure you don't have anything downloading or uploading or the test will be pretty inaccurate.
Everytime the commercial is on I always here "You might get aaaaiiiiiiddddssssss!!!!!!" at the end of the diddy they wrote for it. I'm not even sure what I'm really supposed to be hearing. Edit: And apparently I'm not the only one who hears this
Got a Wii on amazon on thursday. Should have it in two weeks but Brian isn't letting me open it until Christmas. Going out in the morning to help my brother get one. If we do, I'll be at his house all day playing (and her comes the perverse part of the name) with his Wii.
I don't know I'm bothering with this but who knows, maybe someone desperately wants these.
I'm selling my DVDs of Alias. I have seasons 1-4. Season 5 comes out in a few weeks. Ebay Auction I've been slowly selling some stuff. Need to get rid of some DVDs that Brian and I have dublicates between the 2 of us. Also have some more manga to sell. Sold off a few about a month ago. Me needs to stop spending money. Sadly I need to sell these to buy something else. Plus, I need to save up to buy a new computer desk before my 21" CRT screen breaks the one I'm using (or I guess I could buy a new LCD screen but the desk would be cheaper for the quality and size I need. My eyes are very particular and doesn't like the majority of LCDs out there). Also need to pay my mom back about $1800, set aside some money to fix the back door this spring, and save money to pay for Progpower in Atlanta and a possible trip to Japan sometime in the fall. Does anyone in the Albany area know of any jobs available??? Where I can earn something along the lines of $20+ an hr???? (pwease!)
Yeah, so I promised this update weeks ago but only finally did it.. I have a valid reason though. We only just got the living room furniture in on Friday. So anyway... My big announcement.... My boyfriend and I bought a house (town house to be exact)
Oh noes. I forgot to pickup the new Evanescence CD. I don't even feel it's something worth dling is how over the band I am. I'm just not into bitchy "goth" princesses.
I should be asleep. I've watched this like 4x in the last hour. Despite not understanding a single word, the video alone makes the song funny (and somewhat understandable)
I'm a fairly hard person to get stressed but man I've been stressed lately. I can get mad and pissed off but stress is another matter. I just try to be an easy going person. Anyway, I'll maybe have a big update this weekend. Though I apparently may not have internet for 3 weeks at this rate. :-/
Oh yeah, and happy birthday to my brother even though he doesn't read this :).
And my icon in honor of finding out that the GI/military man from the Village People graduated from the same college as me! Wikipedia is awesome! Now back to finally watching s2 of Lost so I don't start out behind on s3.
